Introduction

Before I start let me introduce myself. . .
My name is Jessica Hope Lynn Siverly. Thats my full name but most people call me Jessi.
When I was younger and asked what i  wanted to be when I grow up? I would say "a mommy". It's all I ever wanted. When my siblings were born... I mothered them. I would hold them, dress them, and rock them (keep in mind I was only 2-5 years old). Unfortantly when I was about 15 I learned I may never have kids. . .
I have a medical issue by the name of Polycystic Overian Syndrom (PCOS). When I first learned I had PCOS the doctors couldn't really tell me what it was, how to deal with it or where to go for help. My dad had custody of us and he didn't know how to deal with news so he just ignored it and moved on. It wasn't so easy for me to move on... I was different then most girls my age. They were dealing with boys, hormonal changes, periods, and birthcontrol... while I was dealing with body hair on the face, chest, and stomach...the lack of periods, and the only reason I was on birth control was because the doctor wanted to try and correct my menstral period. My dad hated the fact I was on birth control and I didn't want to ask him for a refill so I tried to ignore the fact I maybe needed it.
After a year or so I moved in with my grandparents. They didn't know how to deal with my mood swings, they didn't want to encourge me to use razors on my body but they were willing to stand by me and my feelings they were willing to try. I really put them through a lot. I wasn't only dealing with PCOS but I was also dealing with feeling abandond from my parents and dealing with the aftermath of child abuse (which is another story).
Now here I am at 23 and soon to be married to the man of my dreams. He has a daughter but I really want kids of our own. He's willing to support me and work hard to have kids. He's amazing! First comes love ... then comes marriage... then come a baby in a baby carriage right? Ha. Ha. Yeah Right.

Thanks for listening. I hope I was able to catch you up. Stay tuned for more blogs to come... My name is Jessi and this is my story. My story of struggles with PCOS, weight management, diabeteis, and infertility.
